Surfing

When you go for walks on the beach and you see someone standing on water and you think they're walking on water, well your wrong they're surfing. Surfing is one of the oldest pratised sports in the world.  Surfing is also one of the few sports that creates its own culture and life style. The act of riding waves with a wooden board originated in western Polynesia over three thousand years ago.

There are many different sizes of surf boards and here are some common sizes 5.2' 6.4' and width 20 inches and 22 inches. There are different surf boards for different waves like a short board for stunts and carving it up.  Fish boards are good for intermediate and good for catching waves and have great  speed. Fun boards like Malibu are good for learners or small waves.  Long boards longer than normal surf boards and good for having fun.  Last but not least there's the stand up board.

We had an amazing soccer game on Saturday.  We had a great game, a bit rough  though because unfortunately  we lost. Great game  we lost 4 5  the main thing was we tried or hardest and we had fun.
